Privacy Policy

The Service Administrator ensures the protection of personal data provided by Users in connection with the use of the Service. The Service Administrator applies technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of Users’ data, including measures preventing third parties from accessing this data, modifying it, or processing it in violation of applicable laws, as well as tools preventing data loss, damage, or destruction. The Service Administrator does not collect sensitive data.

Selected data protection methods used by the Operator

  • Login and personal data entry areas are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This ensures that personal data and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
  • Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator with the key can read it. This protects the data in case the database is stolen from the server.
  • User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function is one-way – it is not possible to reverse it, which is currently the modern standard for storing user passwords.
  • Two-factor authentication is used in the service, which is an additional form of login protection.
  • The Operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
  • For data protection purposes, the Operator regularly performs backup copies.
  • An important element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the Operator to process personal data, which in particular means regular updates of programming components.

Hosting

  • The Service is hosted (technically maintained) on servers of the operator: another company
  • The hosting company, to ensure technical reliability, keeps server-level logs. The following may be recorded:
    • resources identified by URL (addresses of requested resources – pages, files),
    • time the request was received,
    • time the response was sent,
    • client station name – identification via HTTP protocol,
    • information about errors that occurred during HTTP transaction execution,
    • URL of the previously visited page (referer link) – if the transition to the Service occurred via a link,
    • information about the user’s browser,
    • information about the IP address,
    • diagnostic information related to the process of independently ordering services via recorders on the page,
    • information related to the handling of electronic mail directed to and sent by the Operator.

Your rights and additional information about data processing

  • In some situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform a contract concluded with you or to fulfill obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to the following groups of recipients:
    • hosting company on the basis of entrustment
    • authorized employees and associates who use the data to achieve the purpose of the website’s operation
    • companies providing marketing services for the Administrator
  • Your personal data is processed by the Administrator no longer than is necessary to perform the activities related to it, as specified in separate regulations (e.g. accounting). In the case of marketing data, the data will not be processed for more than 3 years.
  • You have the right to request from the Administrator:
    • access to your personal data,
    • their rectification,
    • erasure,
    • restriction of processing,
    • and data portability.
  • You have the right to object to the processing indicated in point 3.2 regarding the processing of personal data for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator, including profiling, provided that the right to object cannot be exercised if there are valid legitimate grounds for processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular the establishment, exercise or defense of claims.

  • Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the operation of the Service.
  • Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be carried out in relation to you for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract and for the purpose of direct marketing by the Administrator.
  • Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means that we do not send it outside the European Union.

Information in forms

  • The Service collects information provided voluntarily by the user, including personal data, if provided.
  • The Service may save information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
  • In some cases, the Service may save information that facilitates linking data in the form with the email address of the user filling out the form. In such a case, the user’s email address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.
  • Data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g. to process a service request or commercial contact, service registration, etc. The context and description of the form clearly informs what it is used for each time.

Information about user behavior in the service may be subject to logging. This data is used for service administration purposes.

Important marketing techniques

  • The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic via Google Analytics (Google Inc. based in the USA). The Operator does not transmit personal data to this service provider, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. In terms of user preference information collected by Google’s advertising network, the user can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
  • The Operator uses remarketing techniques that allow advertising messages to be tailored to the user’s behavior on the site, which may create the impression that the user’s personal data is being used to track them. However, in practice, no personal data is transferred from the Operator to advertising operators. The technological condition for such actions is enabled cookie support.
  • The Operator uses the Facebook pixel. This technology causes Facebook (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) to know that a given registered person uses the Service. It is based on data for which Facebook itself is the administrator. The Operator does not transmit any additional personal data to Facebook. The service is based on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
